Large flotation machine 320m3-680m3
Flotation is a technology for selecting useful minerals based on the different physical and chemical properties of mineral particles on the surface in conducting the mineral separation. The KYF-320 inflatable mechanical agitated flotation machine is the largest flotation machine for industrial applications.
Applications:KYF inflatable mechanical mixing flotation machine is used by large and medium concentration for rough and fine selection operations, the options include non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals and non-metallic minerals.
Advantages: The equipment has tilting rotor behind the blade and low damping suspended stater; it has lower energy consumption and better air dispersion with lighter wearing; either horizontal configuration or ladder configuration is available; the equipment has simple structure with easy maintenance.
Working principle
When the impeller rotates, the slurry in the tank
sucks into the impeller blades from the lower end of the impeller through the
groove bottom. Meanwhile, the low-pressure air fed by the blower enters the air
distributor of the impeller cavity through the air duct, the air regulating
valve and the hollow main shaft, through the hole around the distributor into
the impeller blades, the slurry and air in the impeller blades are fully mixed
between the upper half of the impeller discharge, the discharge of ore flow
obliquely above the movement, by the impeller installed in the ramp above the
stater stability and orientation, scattered throughout the tank. The
mineralized bubbles rise to form a foam on the surface of the tank. The foam
flows into the foam tank spontaneously, the slurry returns to the impeller zone
for recycling, and the other part passes through the circulation holes on the
wall of the tank to enter the lower tank for re-selection.
Development Trends of Flotation equipment
With the deterioration of mineral resources, energy
increasingly tight shortage and the economic development of the growing demand
for minerals, flotation equipment is developed mainly to a trend of
large-scale, refined, specialized, automated and energy-saving. Developed by Beijing
Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute, the volume of KYF-320m3 flotation
machine is the world's largest flotation equipment, and has more than 120
industrial applications. Currently, Beijing Mining and Metallurgy Research
Institute is developing a huge flotation equipment in volume of 680m3.
KYF series of large-scale flotation machine is based upon China's own development, with independent intellectual property rights and of large-scale high-efficiency flotation equipment. The machine has the original structure of the high ratio tilting impeller blades - dangling radial short blade stater structure, which enables reasonable slurry movement and ore particles even distribution, stable foam layer and low energy consumption. The reasonable tank design reduces slurry short-circuit in solving the problem of lower recovery rate of coarse particles of mineral by the foreign large-scale flotation machine. The creatively developed self-priming ore and mineral suction slurry tank self-prime the slurry, a hard problem that internationally large-scale inflatable flotation machine can not solves, it is the first to achieve a large plane flotation machine configuration, which can reduce limited plant height, reducing assistant devices and decreases direct investment.
